Trey Parker & Matt Stone for New York Magazine, and Communication Arts Photo Annual winner
When I asked New York Magazine photo editor Caroline Smith if it was OK if I shot film for our Trey Parker and Matt Stone session she exclaimed, “of course, it will look great!” She went a step further and encouraged me to shoot half of the sitting in black-and-white.
Now, the published image is a winner, and so are it’s subjects! This portrait will be included in the 2011 Communication Arts Photography Annual, while their musical Book of Mormon won nine Tony Awards last night.
